Information collected
Contact messages and subscription email addresses are stored in the storefront database. Consented saved-cart details are also stored there. A saved-cart reminder record includes the email address, selected product variants, quantities, subtotal, consent time and delivery status. Checkout records may include the order contact, destination, purchased items, totals, payment provider order identifiers and payment, fulfilment and refund status. After-sales requests may include customer-supplied evidence images. Custom product requests include your name, email, requested product, quantity, requirements and any PDF you choose to upload. Custom payment submissions also include the agreed order sheet in PDF or XLSX format, the total you enter and payment status. For orders prepared by our team, we also store the customer contact, agreed item details, quantities, notes and inclusive total. A private payment link lets its holder review and pay that order; keep the link private. Strange Mammal does not store payment-card numbers.
How it is used
Contact information is used to review and respond to customer questions. When a customer explicitly asks for saved-cart reminders, the email address and cart details are used for up to three reminder emails at approximately 1, 24 and 72 hours. The second reminder may include a single-use 10% offer valid for 48 hours. Order information is used to process payment, send transactional order and shipment email, provide order status, fulfil shipments and handle replacements or refunds. Evidence images are used only to assess the related after-sales case. Custom product details and uploaded order sheets are used to review your request, confirm order requirements and arrange production after review.
Optional advertising measurement
When you allow advertising in Privacy choices, we may use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to share page, product, cart and confirmed purchase activity, campaign and click identifiers, and matching information such as a hashed checkout email with Meta for ad measurement and relevant offers. Advertising is optional and separate from email signup. Declining prevents new Meta events from this storefront. Changing your choice stops future browser tracking and requests cancellation of pending server events linked to this browser; events already sent cannot be recalled by this control. Campaign information may be attached to your signup or order to understand its source. We do not send message text, uploaded documents or payment-card details to Meta.
Optional website analytics
When you separately allow analytics in Privacy choices, we use Google Analytics to measure page visits, product, cart, checkout and confirmed purchase activity. Google receives public page and campaign information and purchase totals. We do not send names, email addresses, message text, private payment links or payment-card details to Google Analytics. Analytics is optional and separate from Meta advertising and email signup. Declining prevents this storefront from loading Google Analytics; withdrawing your choice stops future events and removes this browser’s Google Analytics cookies. Already sent data cannot be recalled with this control. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled.
Email offers
Email offers require your separate choice. We record the choice, its wording version and time. A welcome discount does not require joining the marketing list. After a new email signup, this site provides a link to withdraw it; future marketing emails must also include an unsubscribe link. Checkout, customer care and saved-cart reminders do not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Choices and retention
Saved-cart reminder consent is separate from checkout and is not preselected. Each reminder contains a link to stop further cart emails. Completing the saved cart, removing consent or unsubscribing cancels pending reminders. Subscription addresses for broader future offers are stored separately.
Service providers and access
Oceanpayment processes our primary website card and supported wallet payments, and PayPal is an additional payment option when available at checkout. The selected payment provider receives the information needed to process and verify the payment, including order totals, billing or shipping details and payment credentials through its payment interface. Resend delivers transactional and consented saved-cart email, and 17TRACK may process carrier and tracking information after dispatch. Public order lookup requires both the order number and checkout email before status is shown. Evidence images are stored outside the public storefront and are available only to authenticated store staff handling the case. Custom-request PDFs and custom-payment order sheets are also stored privately and can be downloaded only by authenticated store staff.
